Tons of leaders have been making trips to India, so....
EDJ is 100% exploring options to open a site in India, for all the reasons noted here: cheaper to run our own outsourcing in India, then to pay a contracting firm to do it. There are many many people who think we will either go public or be acquired/merged. There is really no other explanation for all of PP’s heartless staff cutting even though we are most profitable and have zero debt. The LP structure is also being drastically restructured, and those changes have been in progress for the last 18 months. Sounds like they are going to be phasing LP’s out in some form or another to prepare for a merger or going public.
An Indian Office would allow them to hire competitive candidates instead of relying on the 3rd party groups to continue feeding us unqualified contractors that have boosted resumes and get prepped on how to interview with us. I'm usually a snark here, but if they're going to offshore, they're going to offshore, they might as well do it right.
Associates were offered VSP’s before Reimagined was rolled out. Positions were moved to India in 2024. I know this not by rumor, but by fact.
Wait, what? We’ve already off shored. What is this rumor?
If they are replacing home office associates to boost profits, imagine if leadership thinks they can remove FAs to boost profits. PP would replace everyone with offshore associates and AI agents if it meant more money and power for herself.
Some things are bigger than money.
