No one is going to mention the unhinged email that someone sent to half of Aetna at 1AM eastern time?

@dep+1tEguZ69 by far the worst part about this email for me is that she's obviously a stooge in the making. the language... "level set" and she "cares about this line of business." lmao she couldn't fix her way out of a wet paper bag

As of today the employee still appears as active in Teams. Our department head said HR is handling the situation. She works in medicare clinical so I kind of feel she knows what's going on behind the curtain

It’s a little unhinged, but with all due respect, working under this type of leadership can do that to people. No transparency, self preservation, and just down right lack of respect for the employees you have been chosen to lead not disenfranchise.

The market is tough but the idea that anyone is sitting scared instead of updating their resume need to take action. And I mean that in the best way, you have the power and you should believe in your self. Work less hours and interview during the day at the very least. The last year has eliminated WLB for many of us and if I'm not laid off I wish I could give one of you my position if you really want to stay at a crumbling company. Easier said than done for sure and I think some of us desire that the WLB will return but it never will at this rate.

Also I think it's a perfectly good troll email but I'm sure headquarters will act like it's a bo-b threat or something with the military mentions. Also I bet that phone number is an exec. That being said this whole layoff thread is full of loons, misogynists and racists that apparently go to the office with us every day so I'm not surprised this is getting hyped up.

This is endemic of the myriad of failures under Karen's leadership. People are losing faith and patience as they sit in fear every day while Karen sits comfortably.

Ah, yes. And ones that call others clowns as a reflex to disagreement are the epitome of what human discourse has to offer.

If you read that email and didn’t think the writer was crazy, unhinged, or a threat, you are a clown. Sending that out to 500 people and saying she drove to Rhode Island and is waiting to hear from someone isn’t normal behavior.

Here is the email...

Good morning,

The time has come to fix things. I am a whistleblower. What is a whistleblower? Thanks for asking. A whistleblower is any individual who is brave and courageous enough to provide the right information to the right people regarding unethical and poor business practices that put a company at high risk.

Reach out to me – I’ll fill you in on why this line of business is failing. My personal cell is 615-804-4314. Based on my military intelligence capabilities and strong ethical drive I am happy to openly provide extensive reasons (AND NAMES) of leaders at all levels who are driving the slow but steady decline of this line of business. We are close to rock bottom – maybe we’ve already hit it.

Brian Kane – I want to start with you. I’m not able to add you to this email. Can someone [more important than me] forward this to Brian and all c-suite leaders? You want to save this line of business? I have information that your fancy expensive consulting company will never be able to provide. I have a 20+ page document that I’ve created along with an analysis of the problem. Because I’m solution-driven to my core, I have recommendations for the turn-around. I’ll provide it for free with no expectation of reward in return. Punt your consulting company to the curb and listen to your people.

My MO? Because I care about people AND want to save this line of business that is crashing fast. There is a lot on the line, to include our members. I’m ready to fight this to the very end. I’ve been observing this issue for the past 5 years and it’s time to clean house, level set, and rebuild. Not only do I have specific info, I also have specific steps for the fix. No one has provided me this info – it’s all based on my observations and innate analytical nature.

I drove from DC beginning Saturday morning and am currently at a hotel in proximity to the CVS HQ in Rhode Island. I have used my own personal expenses to make this trip.

For my colleagues, if you’ve been a solid employee and have genuinely contributed with you full heart to the success of this company, then I will support you. If not, then I will call you out. Simple as that.

CVS leaders - I’ll be waiting for your call. If I don’t hear from you, I assume you don’t want real solutions to these very real problems, which is unfortunate. Then I’ll have to consider next steps.

Sad day when a whistleblower is deemed crazy at the outset because they are willing to put it out there and not water it down in corporate speech / make it known. She should get in touch with the law firm bringing suit against CVS for shareholder and valuation shenanigans. They would not sweep it under the carpet and would take appropriate next steps.

The crazy lady who claimed to be a whistleblower and had driven from DC to Rhode Island and was ready to talk to CVS leadership if they desired to know what all was wrong with Aetna..that one? lol

I hope the authorities were alerted. Her email was off the rails.
