Not to mention, we're not down a little under 1%, we're down more like 5% this year (layoffs + people leaving + less hiring)

@nr Math is very much my friend, so is common sense and basic reasoning. Something can be a small percentage of a whole and still be significant. Not that hard of a concept to grasp if you ask me, but I guess some folks need the color by numbers version of the world.

@nr that's really funny, but they have a great point. If someone asked you if a penny from $100 (what I think they were getting at) was a significantly large number, it is very unlikely anyone would say yes.

"@e2 "less than 1%" still leaves room for a little over 1000 people to be layed off. I'd call that significant, but you do you."

If you had to give a penny out of $1000 would you consider that significant?

@g3 It's easier for the Indians because they are held to much much much much lower standards. They're essentially doing incorrect work at the speed of lihjtvwith little to no consequences. Whereas in America we hear about it from 8 different bosses if we forget to put a cover sheet on tbe tps report.

@e2 "less than 1%" still leaves room for a little over 1000 people to be layed off. I'd call that significant, but you do you.

"yes and there have been two significant WFRs since the SEC filing in January."

There has been less than 1% released overall this year. We're there larger percentages in certain orgs? Yes, but overall, less than 1%

Yes I dislike it, they should direct their anger to the ones who do that.
Also this post will be gone by tomorrow most likely.

HC is between 100K and 101K currently. With more layoffs this week, will see where it lands in the next week or two.

@bk yes and there have been two significant WFRs since the SEC filing in January. Not to mention the consatnt WFR trickle. Going by those numbers is like seeing your favorite sports team is ahead in the first 2 minutes of the game then turning the game off and assuming they won.

Former FP&A Consultant. HC used to be on the monthly finance report that was distributed pretty broadly throughout Finance, Leadership, CoC. When that slide disappeared, we all knew something was up!
