Are there still merchandising captains

I am a VM and still support Merchandise duties… let that sink in.
We do not have a merchandising captain, but there is a captain on each floor and they do merchandise in addition to their other duties.
Interesting . . . when I lost my captaincy in May I was led to believe that no stores would continue to have Merchandise Captains..
@de lol. Why would she be putting receipts out? She’s being “groomed” to be the next superstar!
In my store we have a merchandise captain. She follows the smm all day long. Doesn’t help to put out the receipts at all.
Some stores have merch captains, high volume stores will have them and then a low volume store where the SMM is also the OOM tends to have one this compensates for having one less manager
