That’s the chatter. It’s all layoffs, all the time - seems like that is the business model now.

@dd No it's not lol...There might be trickle layoffs in November but the BIG layoffs are always August and February/early March area. it's usually pretty chill in November though.
It is allways in November before the holidays.
VPs are in fighting to keep their quota of folks in order to protect their own jobs. This has become more challenging as they layoff their 20% target per quarter. Imagine if all that energy were put on growing the Dell biz. Most who are here in feb won’t be in march aftercoracle monarch goes live.wonder what is the end game? Lean out and cash in w a sell perhaps
Working on October/November list now.
For the big bulk of layoffs, yes. It's done.
But, layoffs never end at Dell. It's an all year thing but, it's August and usually February when the big layoffs occur. Don't be fooled though... Layoffs at Dell are daily and weekly. Just not in big numbers like they are in Aug and Feb. so, my point is that there is, and hasn't been a single time for at least a decade now in which Dell ISN"T laying off.
Are you like new to Dell? This is what they've done their entire history.
