Ford top leaders are enjoying the all-in power and prestige with treating all employees like children, so we are investigating not permitting employees to go out for lunch. Not only will this keep employees at a free-address desk during lunch time to improve collaboration, it will also help curb coffee badging which recent badge and IT forensic computer usage data says is on the rise.

You say you never bring a lunch and always go out? Kumar has an answer for you....have your mom make your lunch. You say Ford has to provide cafeteria accommodations? No we dont.

That is not acceptable as working in a car does not promote face to face collaboration (unless their team members are all working inside the car with them).

Solution for lack of parking is to park further away and walk. Solution to lack of desks is sit on the floor in the center of gravity office for your team. Note this was discussed in this forum already.

I know someone who badged in and had to work from their car for several days because there were no desks or place to park....

Hey guys, as long as Ford’s commercial property prices and the local tax breaks remain high, we should all just be happy to have a job. Yeah, we have to drive for no reason to sit on Teams calls, but that’s what our highly paid remote bosses want. Who are we to argue!
