Can we have this thread just to vent about RTO?

RTO will be scaled back to 3 days/week sooner than later and unmonitored - at least badge wise. Mark my words.
Man, getting that remote really was the ti-s. They gonna fire my a-s at some point, but given the lack of redundancy in my role and lack of willing reps to service my India-based accounts, they'll wait as long as they can to touch me.
After that, I'm off to BaristaFIRE.
@da the TP in the Utah office is thin enough to read through and harsh enough to polish diamonds.
The toilet paper in HOP 176 is really enjoyable to use. I love going to the toilet now that we're RTO.
If it makes you feel better I am FIELD SERVICES but I am 95% working from my nice home office.
I have an uplift desk, ergonomic chair, mouse, and keyboard, view of the valley, and nice soft TP in the bathroom directly across from my office.
Anyone else's backside raw from the 1 ply sandpaper they pass off as tp in tbe office?
Think we haven’t vented enough?
RTO has two measures, control and stock that CxO level has in the property renting companies. People in office - more profit. RTO effectively increased my costs by 30% a month vs. WFH and not speaking 2hrs wasted time on commute.
OR: eligibility for raises, bonuses, promotions
Hard to write, nothing to say as three words describe the situation: badges and metrics and threats...
Moved a while ago. Now RTO is mandatory and I’m either commuting across time zones or losing my job.
No exceptions.
No conversation.
They say hybrid. They mean mandatory!!!!!!
If they want people in-office, maybe offer a reason better than “because we said so.”
Meanwhile half our buildings are ghost towns... and managers are WFH from other states... Chillin... It's all about control and has nothing to do with all the stories about collab.
