Subscriptions are for re--tards who can't count money and could be easily deceived with extra bills on their credit cards. In other words, most of the subscribers are financial ret-0-rards.

FMC has been lucky that a few excuses to slowdown production have popped up. Quarter after quarter, I see the number of vehicles "sold" by FMC (to the dealers). However, I see the dealers' lots full, including last year models. How many Ford vehicles are actually still in the lots? IDK, but I noticed an increased in plant shutdowns during this year. I am guessing dealers are starting to push back...

@d8, Exactly. I quit from Ford 2 years ago as my group was constantly being pulled off of fixing issues with existing features to work in subscription features which will never fly. Don’t worry about the screen going blank when you adjust the front defrost, work in the perfume feature. We will sell millions of scent pods! Our LL4 was blunt, I can’t justify our team to work on defects, but I can keep and grow with subscription features. I knew Ford was done with this attitude and left.

People do not like subscription services, especially when it comes to their cars/trucks. That model is never going to work so these manufacturers should just stop trying to make it happen.

The next-gen Model e products will be an immediate boost in profits and subscription based services and features will be a significant portion of that. But you OP and customers will have be patient until these products are launched to the public. Stay tuned.
