He said he had to get axed before another mass layoff , delay of all hands screams of another big cut , or they are all so inept at managing that the are trying to rewrite the narrative ? Will the stock drop from a sell off as soon as the C suite opens their mouths again ?

@ks The last thing we need is an indian CEO. We should get rid of the indian cfo
HE IS DEI, have you ever seen a Brazilian CEO? If QCOM's CEO was an INDIAN. You know what am I talking about.
I think you've missed a crucial point in the last statement. He said there will be no layoffs in that FY. We're already way past that.
@d8 The innovation you mentiin in Q typically come from acquisitions now, rather than internal breakthroughs.
I don’t think the AH move has anything to do with cuts. Think what you may of the C-suite, but I would be very surprised if they moved the AH meeting to the day before the 40th anniversary party so they could announce a layoff then.
@d8 In order to Q to revive, keep the top performers in non-functioning teams due to inept managers and fire those managers (usually befriended with some VPs). Q has been doing the opposite for many years.
You seem to not understand the business of a tech company. A tech company will always try to make new businesses and most will fail - this causing layoffs every few years. But a money making business that has layoffs is another story. So depending on where the layoffs come from will mean a lot. Or do you feel Qualcomm should never innovate and just go out of business? If that’s the case then Q as we know it today would t exist. It would have went bankrupt along time ago with its email exchange business
there is no big cut, there is just a lot of M&A activity ongoing that requires his attention.
Another big cut?
Just rumours.
to be replaced by who? Akash? I'd be scared af if so
CA won't be around much longer. He has health issues.
Weird, delayed 2 more weeks, I don't remember it happened before!
