Don’t sweat it, kids - if you’re miserable, just blow that popsicle stand. No use crying over spilt milk. A toxic workplace only drains your energy and peace of mind. It’s not worth a second of your sanity.

"sad to be working at a company and witnessing it's downfall in real time."

Sadder that one person is responsible for it and for the morale of the entire company tanking and MD doesnt seem to notice or care

@d7 When it first happens, you are fearful of burning bridges, desperate for assistance, and scared to be labeled a toxic malcontent. There's an impulse to broadcast positivity and inflate the greatness of your experiences and the profound bonds and business partnerships you forged. After a while, you recover from the trauma of your time at Dell. The bizarre mental health state of being laid off settles down. Then, you realize how putridly wretched that place really was. After a short while, you don't hear a peep from any of the "AMAZING PEOPLE" Then you end up lurking and posting on these boards, watching it get worse and worse with each passing quarter.

It's hard to read some of the linkedin posts because even after a person has been let go, they are so happy and they thank everyone.

I love watching the falsified LinkedIn posts of Dell leadership trying to sell a narrative of how great things are and how Dell is so relevant in AI. It’s utterly hilarious if these people don’t realise how most people are laughing at them.

Please check previous posts before posting links to dated news stories. Rule of thumb, if it’s not published the day you post, it’s probably out of date.
