Are you kidding? Intel basically sc--wed everything in the last 15 years and is living on the afterburners of x86. They missed mobile, the missed AI, the missed networking, they lost Apple, they missed EUV, they missed the transition to fabless, they missed the transition to chiplets. Name something in the last 20 years that was actually successful.

@d6, 12 years ago the company was in great shape. What changed since then to cause problems? Wasn’t the ones who were here.

Leave NEX Alone. They're doing a great job.

@bb

This blows my mind, LBT should start by laying off anyone that has been at intel over 12 years or so. They are why the company is in this mess.

There is no reason for NEX to continue existence. The products are mediocre or worse and there are dozens of companies who offer similar or far superior products. They won't be missed.

Yes NEX will be gone and SK will get more money and responsibility to make sure Intel does not get its AI story together

More than likely it will be sold off for the IP.

Yes. And the old timers will somehow save their jobs. Hasn’t changed under Lipbu.
Most ELT and CVP are the same old timers who got us in this mess.

Let’s hope so, they haven’t released a competitive product in years.
