It’s so interesting how everybody is so mean to each other on here.why? And yes, I’m waiting for you to respond to me @ me and say terrible things. I’m unbothered and I really just feel bad for you.

The only thing hybrid does is make the wfh ppl feel better as they only break the rules a few days a week instead of the whole week

@d5 who is “we”? Perhaps it’s best to rely on objective facts rather than using data to “prove” an existing prejudice. Having worked entirely 5 days in the office, 5 days wfh and also hybrid I definitely see the benefit of hybrid above either other option

I find it amusing that any article or study that supports WFH is absolutely unassailable... The author(s) are the new Messiah. While anything that paint WFH with even the slightest negativity is fake news and propaganda.
It just shows the type of people we're dealing with.

@a6 I'd say real estate trusts sitting on empty office buildings that the taxpayer has no interest in bailing out.

NY Times said exactly the same thing in 2023. There are significant agendas at play with large invested interests to undermine work from home. You can’t make so much money from homeworkers. The flaw in this logic is that social isolation is well known to negatively impact mental health and that is nothing new, so if you were interacting in an office then worked from home instead you need to ensure that other strategies are adopted to replace the lost interactions. Importantly do not define yourself by who you are at work! The obvious solution is hybrid working and enjoy the best of both worlds.

It's NY Times. You seriously believe the BS? Fake news. Stop buying from their sponsors and hopefully shut down that place.

It is not remote work depression, it is the work from home that helped people achieve a certain level of freedom that helped them reach a realization of how they can be berried inside the office and accept office politics as normal behavior.
