Program Loss?

Looks like a huge program wasn’t awarded to space park- one all hands today and another tomorrow. Layoffs incoming ?

Won't boeing just subcontract the payload back to Northrop?

After all, relations between El Segundo and Space Park are so wonderful and full of mutual respect. /s

With Boeing winning ESS - Aviation week also stated the PTS program was cancelled.
Was hoping for a division of the work.

@cw of course that they said this so it is not panic for employees and they have time to prepare the layoffs and control the noise. They will do small layoffs so it is not public. Just wait and see…

@d5 agree people at space park anticipating this program. Almost as if a rug was pulled underneath them. I don’t see how there is not going to be impacts.

well i did see an email that was saying programs are delayed but not lost, they were trying to find work for engineers so they wouldn't lose them until the contracts did come in.
