@OP Funny. I work there and I don't see a mass exodus of people. Didn't your mom finish making the meatloaf already?
@d4 So we suddenly have a self‑proclaimed high achiever here. Tell me—what gives you the right to invalidate the experiences of people exposing a broken and corrupt corporate structure?
@d4 Not everyone gets lucky. A lot depends on the team and manager you end up with — especially your first manager, who can shape your entire early experience.
@OP quitters, Exxon is a great place to work. If you work hard you’re rewarded, if you’re a slacker you end up on here moaning
Opportunities are shrinking, lower CL's for everything. Work getting moved overseas, but more workload for those left to deal with the mess-ups from the poor quality outsourcing. Ranking process getting more toxic by the day. Definitely time to get out. Better to be a shareholder than an employee these days.
Finance about to be gutted in the U.S. Better to leave now and now be competing with your coworkers for a role when they are all let go in the next couple years.
