Dirty little secret. Ford white collar has always been about making peoples careers not about making automobiles. The whole game of rotating LL6 and LL5 every few years is toted as creating well rounded leaders by exposing future leaders to all areas of Ford. But in reality it is just a mechanism for the FnF to claim victory for an initiative and rotate just before it epically fails. There is a clear pattern to the rotations. A lesser status LL6 is rotated into a position / promoted into a position to take the fall for the impending failure. Bonus points if the move checks multiple HR boxes. Lesser status might be a woman/minority or someone who the FnF crowd feels threatened by. Inevitably the lesser status LL6 is then targeted for removal.
Ford management has ALWAYS been a bunch of re--rds who only know how to kiss a-s. There can never be job security in a company like that

These losers taking 6-months to get a plan together, sure sounds logical for a few day job. Must have to develop a presentation along with the plan.
Management at any other company would have a plan within a week.
The unobtainable goal - How about "single handedly shutting down the company and losing $10's of Billions simultaneously" sound.
