With continuing structural cost savings, what is the predicted future of our Spring Campus?

@d1 You say that like it’s a bad thing.

Why TF does everyone here hate curry? Indian food is tasty, and unlike Chick-fil-a it’s…actually food.

No. Move staff to nearest refinery. Put upper management on a floor of a small building at the Woodlands.

There you go. Problem solved

@ah there’s no reason for EM to move downtown and pay more per sq ft, esp when most of the execs live in the North/Woodlands area. They don’t like commutes either, even if they have a driver.

@OP Once the executives are done robbing their employees and hollowing out the company they’ll just abandon it.

Greenspoint is a good indicator for where they’re headed. You read it here first.

The only way the Spring campus’ future is bright is if we torch it for the insurance money

Houston wasn't affected last month because of the already ongoing NALI. Maybe once the dust settles they'll revisit Campus. By that time 10% PIPs per year will have the same affect.

EMHC is “safeish” for the next few years while the current administration is in place. There will continue to be 10+% NSI, PIPs, and porting of roles to India and BA

Once a democratic government is in place, fully expect the campus to be sold, 50+% of roles offshored, and the remaining footprint of employees to be moved to downtown Houston.

Houston was spared by the restructuring announced three weeks ago due to politics, but fully know your job will offshored as soon as possible. EM is and has been positioning itself to be the last oil company standing, and so far they are winning that race against our competitors.
