Support hours and support managers work

What time is everyone scheduled to work in 2132 and 8825 hours? And their managers work (7-4 or 8-5)?

@cx most support functions have to get done during the week, trucks signing etc. Working a night is useless for a support person unless they are recovery. I have done multiple rolls in the 30yrs I have been. Been support executive for 20 yrs. My team does 6-3 fulfillment does 8-5 or 8-4 depending on the hours.

I’m fulfillment captain at my store.
We generally work 7-4 seven days a week. I make the schedule for my small and getting smaller team. The last couple of weeks we had two of our four teammates out for medical leaves.
Going on week three now and we might get one back on Thursday. Not sure of the fourth yet. During the time they’ve been out we’ve had four days a week with only one person doing fulfillment. Not help whatsoever on weekends—god forbid any other support person work on a weekend. No help on truck days. Little help other than that. Packing only usually. This sale has brought holiday type bops on top of enormous picks that keep rolling over. Today we had over 500. So we chip away at the earliest due dates. Horrible. Corporate Macys definitely cares about shareholders more than employees.

We have no OOM so STM is on the executive rotation. The dock captain and the full timer come in at 7a and work til 4 Mon-Fri. No weekends. Fulfillment captain is 8-5 ( to cover BOPS) and there is no full timer on the fulfillment side. I know we're all one big happy family but for the most part, everyone just does what they were doing prior to that. Obviously fulfillment captain will work on the weekend. Fulfillment captain makes the schedule for that team. The team who signs and places truck product works any day needed; nothing past 5pm. No need for any of these folks to work nights. We're a small store

At my store 8-5 smm oom stm with them rotating a Saturday 8-4. The support foh/boh 8-4 m-f. All hours are spent on boh (their hours and any remaining selling hours) while the sales floor looks 1 opener 1 closer (weekday&weekends). Our mba has NO control or say on hours since oom has control on both mba and stm. My store has a weak stm with no spine.

Everyone, no matter what position, should have to work some nights, some weekends, and some holidays. No exceptions. Perhaps the bold new chapter interpretation and hospitality is execs having soft hands?

I'm sorry but everyone should have to work nights and weekends, that includes support staff as well. The rest of us get cr-ppy schedules. I work 3 nights a week some weeks and am still doing markdowns and truck placement even though I'm not on the support team.

Our OOM works mostly 7-4 or 8-5 shifts our SMM works mostly 6-3 or 7-4 and they each work one closing shift most weeks to help keep closing shifts balanced among our executives and for the purposes of PTO and weekend rotations our STM and MBA also work a similar rotation

Our manager works 7-4, has at least one night to close and is on the executive weekend rotation. We’re a small store so it’s necessary.
