Did anyone else get a final written warning after taking maternity leave, being sick, or vacation this summer? Or even after being told to stay away because there were no desks?
A new low for Ford.

I hate to call the pathetic management as leaders. Headless chicken is more apt.
AI we-ponized
@fe yes. I received both the initial emails but not this latest one. I talked with someone yesterday who did not get the first two emails but got this latest one.
Anyone I've heard it happen to has been because of vacations taken. It's an inhumane system designed to make us hate our workplace to increase attrition. Leadership is clueless and their only option is to reduce cost via headcount.
My Ford career started in 1994, no pension owed to me due to being part of Visteon when separated from Ford in 2000.
I am not opposed to RTO, however the process by which it has been enacted is highly insulting. The LL5/LL6's should have been given the latitude to decide how many days per week are needed for their departments.
Now close to retirement age I am not keeping track of my badge-in days, used the normal amount of vacation days up to now and I have not received a warning letter.
Perhaps someone in HCM will read this and comment on what the real purpose of badge-in statistics are for.
Are they only tracking people who got the first RTO email? Did they check the badge swipe average per week from end of June to end of August for everyone? I am wondering if anyone who didn’t get the first RTO email at end of June got this final notice.
@f1 I’ll wager you’re a decent person too, bitter about something like many, but the attacks are uncalled for.
@f0 What exactly do you think happened here?
@ew Rule #1. Never trust a people leader unless other PLs hold the bad ones accountable. What's that saying about birds of the same feather..
Rule #2. Attack the argument not the character
@et Are you serious? You're defending an id--t who's trolling someone who was trying to give meaningful (and correct) insight....
@es That's not even funny. I'm not who you're replying to but the letters T and R are right next to each other.
Maybe they mean Tule and attribute leadership attributes as expectations for it. Tall poppy syndrome is a thing and perhaps they make the point that those there should deserve their title. Your snarky reply isn't productive. Just picking at straws to attack a typo to feel better. If you are a people leader, and are taking offense... you have some work to do, have grace.
@er They can spell for one.
@ac Get a spine people leader! if you're a guy, grow some ba--s!
How do people like you have a tule with "leader" in it?
What a joke
@dv they do not..
@em You too!
@ek Enjoy your evening guy. Hope things get better for you
@ej What is not to get, you're here for a reason... I'm not happy with this place either. We all have our reasons.
@eh ?
@eg I'm serious, you seem to be manically trolling these pages, I'm wondering what brought you here.
@ee What?
@e3 This really needs to end. Do you need closure?
@a1 Doug took time from changing the future of mobility… to sign your warning letter?
Maybe it was his way of "setting" the "record straight".
That’s the perk of being at the top of the food chain. You can "defend" anything
@cx hilariouss
@dw one vacation day per week LMAO
nothing beats a jet2 holiday!
Vacations count against you.
Being on a incident call all night and deciding to sleep during the day and not physically go to an office counts against.
Calling in for mental sanity, doctors appt, or sick etc counts against you.
That was discussed here before. To meet minimum 4 badge swipes per week, employees are only permitted to take one vacation day (or any other approved absence day) per week.
If HR tracks badge swipes and calculates minimum attendance per week, how do they account for people that take a whole week worth of vacation?
The DATA clearly shows the benefit of RTO and Collaboration.
The leadership only cares about their boys in California... They are just looking for easy ways to get rid of everyone else... Ford Motor Company is dead.
I got the first two. Didn't get a final. WHEW.
I've used my time working from home to get amazing abs.
When I jog shirtless in LA the ladies won't be able to stop staring
What have the rest of you done?
Hate to break it to you all, but HR's data is bullet proof with this matter. Not merting RTO requirements is a very serious corporate offense and the data will be used against you for disciplinary action.
This goes well above your people leader and up to or above your activities VP.
looks like they have taken average attendance between end of June and end of august. below an average attendance per week (between 2-1/4 and 2-1/2 days) then letter generated.
I had gotten the 1st RTO email. I had missed maybe a day in 1 or 2 weeks. But the 2nd one said I improved. I didn't get 3rd one. They are actually counting if you are coming in the min days each week, not like 16 days in a month.
What did the latest email say? I've been on vacation so I refuse to check until I'm back but I bet it's waiting for me in my inbox.
@cw I don’t think we are talking about the same person.
@c8 People like that clown with weak jabs because they can't refute competence directly. The bullying might look immature or weird, but it is still real and could be hurtful after everything. Some aren't offensive, they may just nod without ridicule, at least they're not aiming shots
@cr yup
@cq Did you already get 2 emails before?
@ch yup, email
How did you guys get this, through email?
