Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

If you want to Slap AT&T in the Face:

Send EVERYONE you know to T-MOBILE. Switch over all your own lines as well. Can you imagine what it says to the outside world when your own employees refer people to the Competition out of pure Disgust and Disappointment? Give them back the Middle-Finger.

@OP done. I switched about 3 years ago. Good service, 4 T-Mobile lines are cheaper than 3 lines with my employee discount. I have zero att services. They get more than enough out of me

AT&T lost 8 lines from our family. AND we're using the T-mobile internet which works great and is only $40 (could be cheaper depending on where you live) with no data caps and no added fees and taxes. overall, we're saving lots of money so I'm following the marketplace winner, not worried about being a loyal customer.

I retired last year. The retirement discount for AT&T mobility services is lower than the employee discount, so I decided to check around. Got a much better deal with T-mobile and better service as well. I feel bad for the employees still working at AT&T, but there is no way I would purchase their services out of "loyalty", which we know the company doesn't even value an more.

I have been a T-Mobile customer since 2007. Customer service is far superior to T's Pricing is much cheaper and 5G is most everywhere I go

“I bet if all employees did the same, it would send a message.”

“ I had a custom t shirt made that says “Market Driven Madness” ”

You ought to sell those. Maybe add the Death Star logo.

I’m planning to shop a T mobile plan now, if the price is cheaper than my employee discount then I’m switching. I bet if all employees did the same, it would send a message. #marketbasedculture #noloyalty

I stopped recommending T services to friends and family a long time ago and switched my cell to Verizon and cable to Spectrum a couple years ago.

I just sold a door salesman today on T-mobile and was so happy about it. (I use T mobile. Much better pricing and customer service)

I’ll tell them to check the market and go with the cheapest price since it’s all about the same anyways. Be market driven! #customerobsessed

This has already been happening for a couple of years now. AT&T RTO has been a huge sales bo-m for our competition. Verizon or their discount brand is a better choice for most customers than T-mo. I am quite happy with them. Dirt cheap, better call quality than AT&T, better coverage, no antagonistic rules about personal hotspot and data use.

I left the company last May and immediately switched to t mobile. I can not believe the price and options we got. Way more for way less. Their employee discount is a JOKE. We got 4 free phones, everyone has a hotspot, free wifi on Alaska, and a lot more.

Ditch the employee discount - it’s a joke just like Stankey

lol. Right on! I had a custom t shirt made that says “Market Driven Madness” and wore it to work today. ROTFL! I seriously have never had so much fun and yuk yuks at the companies expense and right to their face. They didn’t know if I was gung ho about it or laughing at them with sarcasm beaming from my shirt. I’m having a blast. Keep the madness up Stink!

According to STINKEY we are all “market driven” now …. So, to helll with Loyalty. Vote with your Wallets and drop AT&T like a bad habit.

Absolutely. Did that a year ago b4 leaving. Cheaper than retiree price for 3 lines, and works better everywhere I go. T is doomed.

Make sure to answer your surveys with odd reasons for leaving to mess up their AI. Why are you leaving? Price are too low! Network has too much coverage! I don't like bundling. I was looking for more regulatory fees.

Same applies for all of their online surveys and phone calls. At scale, the AI won't know what to make of the numbers.
