I'm ready to endure whatever comes my way. It won't be long before they're forced to lay us off in an orderly fashion. I’ll show up, do the bare minimum, make sure I clock out on time—and not a minute later—and wait for my turn to collect severance. I’ll definitely not play into their hands and quit on my own.

No. Leaving for a different job when I am ready is in the pipeline. Not that there is a job opening somewhere just waiting on me to wander in. Sorry.

Absolutely right! The worse we are treated, the harder we should work! That will certainly end all worker grievances.

Sure, another job is in the pipeline. Quitting will be on my terms, and that time is not now.
I've got a lot of malingering to do, along with shoddy work and a pi-s-poor attitude. Maybe some mistakes in job documentation, since it's difficult to concentrate.
But at least I'm in-office and isn't that the only important factor?

Way to standup for yourself! You really showed them. If you had any gumption at all, you would get your resume updated and get another job. Not post meaningless threats on a lame website for everyone that is miserable. They own you - so you might as well get used to it.
