BRO, fulfillment the lowest tier? You are out of your mind. The amount of work fulfillment puts out in my store is insane. Try shoe expeditors, they sit on their a-s in the back all day. Sales people have to push em in the back to do sh-t.
Beg to differ. Fulfillment is not the lowest on the totem pole above housekeeping.
To me the original post sounds like they are a commission salesperson being asked to do unrelated work for free.
Yeah Fulfillment does not get commission. You could consider becoming a sales person as much as I didn’t like it when I worked in retail sales. Macys does have some special needs people working in the stores I have seen some. Other retailers also. I’ve seen some of them work harder than a lot of the regular employee Associates
i want 40 billion for my unpaid commissions
No one gets commission on fulfillment. What ever made you think you would?
You should be thankful that Macys hires special needs people such as yourself. Reach for the stars and shine on!!
First of all, this is a statement, not a question. But, assuming a question here, what, in 8 1/2 years would lead you to believe you'd get commission. This makes NO sense.
Even most sales colleagues don't get commission. Only specialized areas such as Jewelry, Beauty, shoes, get it.
"Your store didn’t get credit for those picks either"
Actually stores get 50% of the revenue from shippable orders from macys.com.
This is before they got rid of the commission. I was a commission sales person meaning if I had to go through the stockroom and find the items for the customer, I was paid a commission. They never paid me commission.
Bro you’re in fulfillment, the lowest tier there other than housekeeping. Why would you think in a million years you’d be getting commission???
Why would you? You didn’t do anything to inspire the customer to buy the pieces. Picking and packing is part of your job. Hopefully you were clear on the expectations before you took the position. Guess what? Your store didn’t get credit for those picks either unless they were BOPS. All the man hours spent, $ spent on shipping supplies, product that left the store…so the company could find success…that’s how YOUR work impacts the overall success of the company. Part of the big picture.
The salesperson who generated the order gets the commission!that’s it!
