I heard from a colleague that there would be a townhall after the merger close. They didn’t have a date they could share but they know it’s being worked on. I’m curious if anyone here has heard anything about when this townhall might happen?

@cr yes we had town halls / Bob Live events before they weren’t linked to layoffs.
I expect we will have one the week after the close. I expect the new management team want to address everyone with their high level vision. I doubt there will be questions, let alone answers but who knows.
But in the subject of layoffs, we have to be crazy not to expect some layoffs by the end of the year but I’ve not heard any dates etc.
@as what makes you say that? I remember town halls with bob bakish where one of the big questions was when layoffs would happen and of course he didn’t address it but they do town halls before layoffs.
Merger close is August 7 so expect a Town Hall the week of 8/11.
What ever the day is it will be AFTER the layoffs. If they announce the date then we all know when judgement day.
