@pa You're lucky anyone even gave you a job with your lack of comprehension and faulty critical thinking.

@aj so it’s YOUR fault Intel is in this position! Well, you and guys like you.

Why were you working so hard to destroy Intel? 60-80 hours a week of garbage in, and now we’re seeing the ramifications of you and “hard working” people like you: garbage out.

Systems thinking. Funny how that works.

Once upon a time "work hard and you will be rewarded" was believable. Now, "work until you drop" guarantees absolutely nothing.

@cr Watch out for the fake virtue signaling types and their backstabbing.

work smarter not harder. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? Especially process nodes.

Give all HR and management roles to AI. Then AI can fire the humans.

"Some are not only not productive, but also create hurdles for hard working employees."

Hey, cool it with the s-xist remarks.

@b2 add robotics to your AI solution and this is exactly where a lot of jobs will end up. It is not far off at big corporations either.

Actually, forget 996. Do 24/7 with all AI. Humans are just trouble. They need to eat and sleep, they have families to tend to, they get exhausted and cranky if work is endless - honestly, who needs all that?

A lot of folks I talk to are doing just the minimum to get the job done. All the little "extra" things they would do - no longer. If it can be pushed, it will.
Not quite quiet quitting, but close.

In most of big companies, 20% people do 80% of work. A lot of people pretend they are busy, running useless time wasting meetings or ……. Some are not only not productive, but also create hurdles for hard working employees.

This is a good idea. AI should monitor the real time productivity. Fire all the managers and replace them with AI. The rest should work strict 996 and in the office. Anyone detected not working at the optimal productivity by the AI, will receive an automated warning. Three strikes and you're out. HR can stay and security can escort all managers out without severance and a termination letter effective immediately.

@aj That's not enough. 996 will apply to everyone, as per company policy.

Why? I've been working 60-80 hrs for years. If apparently the other 80% of the company even put in 40-50 a week actually being productive we wouldn't be here.

It’s more like 7am to 10pm or even later with all the useless meetings with oversea teams

996 is what the competition works. Intel is behind so 6107 (6am-10pm, 7days). You get 996 when you catch up.
