Not a single Indian got affected in VDDV and Battery Cell orgs. Both of these orgs have at least 40% Indians.
Not surprising that their directors are from India - Radu and Kushal.

Racism is not very comforting when you are running out of money, the bills are stacking up and the phone isn't ringing. Maybe spend less time complaining online and more time looking for a job?
If Raj doesn't cut it, it doesn't help you save your marriage or keep the car in the driveway. You need to let it go and find somewhere new to work and complain about.
I upvoted OP. I grew up in Michigan so I was out numbered by people who seem very sympathetic to certain people. It's happening more and more at GM.

In our group, however, just the opposite thing happened.
There is this guy who is with HM for more than 30 years. He contributed absolutely nothing last year. He is learning a new process for last 8 months and made no progress at all. And 2 other folks are now helping him learn this software. So not only he contributed nothing, but now he is wasting others time.
And then there is this lady - who doesn't even come to the office once a week due to her personal issues. Completed only 2 assignments last year, didn't come to the office since December.
Nothing happened to them as both are working with our EGM for many years and close friends of her.

Fingers can be pointed both ways if you are targeting a group of people. I have seen it the other way around too in several areas. If anyone is to be blamed, it’s Mary and the SLT who have drank the Silicon Valley kool aid. The rest of us are just trying to survive. Maybe, let’s spend this energy to form a white collar union like some other countries do.
Most of the staffing companies are owned by Indians. And their main clients are Indian directors. Look at VDDV for example. 50% of Radu's staffs are Indians and no one was impacted
H1B scammers! Certain Minority groups benefits on backs of Afro Americans that really deserved the position. How many African American does GM has in leadership? Some directors outsource to contracting house their bodies own. Get them out.

VDDV is an absolute mess right now. The people we’ve lost weren’t low performers—they were competent individuals who got sidelined for no valid reason.
The biggest problem is leadership. Talented people have been leaving the company in droves because of one common factor: Director Radu Theyyunni. His leadership has been driving away the very talent that made VDDV strong in the first place.
And let’s talk about the replacements—hiring cheap, underqualified contractors from TCS India is a disaster. These contractors are constantly making mistakes, and the rest of us are stuck wasting our time cleaning up their messes instead of focusing on innovation or real progress.
To make things worse, many of the EGMs don’t even have an analytical background. Some of them have never even touched the software we work with every day. How are we supposed to move forward when the people at the top don’t even understand the tools and processes critical to the work?

It's so indicative of the congnitave dissonance at GM. This will ruin them. If you are in automotive, might be a good time to consider changing industries and taking your expertise and work ethic somewhere else. Watch the house collapse from afar.
