A VP becoming a tech would S-cide on the realization of the wages being inefficient for normal living. Take away all of their shares and give them the annual mediocre cash incentive instead so they really feel the squeeze.
I don't believe Trum has any degree in science and engineering to save anything.

Leaving the current board and executives in place is a recipe for bitter failure.
Intel will manufacture for all companies, and delay everyone’s product until after 2030? LOL. This is fun and will destroy US tech companies. This will truly make all non-US countries to pass the US.
they might have a chance if they
1) randomly delete 50% of the head count. just a 50% layoff completely at random.
2) reorg the remaining 50% completely at random. Fab techs can be VPs, PE can be fab techs- however the dice roll.
anything else will just result in more of the same, like it has every time before
