Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Where is Mr. P?

AMD is in rare view mirror.
I am betting entire company on 18 A.
This will be a greatest turnaround story ever.
What else....???

Reality... 25K layoff. 18 A canceled. 14 A - maybe? Fabless is the future - this is becoming the reality.

Happy Friday those who are still employed. And those you lost job - all credit goes to pastor P.

Pat has a super long but super skinny weiner. It looks like a witches finger. Thin, crooked, slightly twisted, like tree branches or talons. Try to imagine it. Look at a picture of him and try to picture it.

This is all Pats doing and legacy. LBT is just doing the clean up. Pat needs to called out and fade away. His voice and opinions should be kept to himself. He destroyed an American Brand name institution. They will write this up and use as case studies in various universities’ business curriculum. He will forever be the man who ki-led Intel

The story of Pat is the story of Larrabee and Falcon Shores. In each case we desperately needed such a product for that niche but the actual product was too underwhelming to sell and x86 was absolutely the wrong call.

So too for CEO Pat’s plan for the whole shootin match

@an
I would rather have a goal and fail then not and coast.
That's just me, though. You do you.

Why do people love to act like just Pat had some “vision” that he was good? His vision was dogshit and destroyed the company

Its the boards fault, not Pats. He was forced out mid fab build out due to lack of profits from foundry. Say what you will about Pat but he actually had a vision that didnt involve castrating the company like Lip Bu Tan and the board (I'm Looking at you Frank Yeary) are currently doing before eventually exiting the foundry side of the business.
