Where does the arrogance come from I really dont get it. Why do you think you are special and will be in a company that “makes money.” Like most, it’s more likely you wont! No one is safe, you will probably be let go of too. I wouldnt laugh just yet my friend

@qlj+1hsL17B8 Have you been reading any of the other threads? Lots of people looking for other positions and coming up with zip. Do you really think there's a lot of companies out there right now willing to pay equal or more than VMW comp in this economy?
Also what makes you think it would be better or equal to VMW culture. It's not like VMW culture was so phenomenal before. Every company/team has it's issues.
It's not all roses and sunshine looking for another job. The grass always looks greener on the other side, until you get to the other side and notice all the weeds/gophers.

Right here. I am hoping it shuts up some of the Whinners hoping google or some magical fairy will come and "save" them... People in denial vs dealing with reality. Let me know, am I a 1, 2 or 3 in the broadcom ratings and lets get moving. Maybe I stay and make money or maybe I go and Take my severance. But stop crying like a baby.

VMW was dying and slow death. An either new mgmt was going to come in and lay out changes or Broadcom is doing it it's way. I'm ready. a recession is coming. Hiring is not good right now. I want to be in a company that makes money vs this stuff.

No one else will want to buy VMware for that Broadcom price. I wouldn’t hold my breath that something better comes along. There are no saviors when it comes to business.
