Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Bonuses this year?

With all the layoffs, does this mean they’ll cut bonuses, using cost cuts as an excuse? Has anyone heard anything?

I heard bonuses are only going to be funded at 80-85% of last years pool. So inevitably will go down … while I’m sure Ron and Eric’s continue to go up. Despite them being disliked failures.

@cnn+1q1X1FkH yes they have done similar things in the past, I would definitely bet the compensation will be lower this year.

The pattern is , some years no bonuses other years your luck to get 1% to 2%

Before the madness of the yearly layoffs, as an average worker. I remember my yearly bonus would average from 4% to 6%, not bad for an average worker.

Didn’t they do something similar in 2020? I wasn’t there but heard there were no promotions, not sure about bonuses
