I guess most of the readers don't have even close understanding what we are part of. Intel is the last hope of west world to secure their technology leadership in strategical semiconductors area. Look back to the history. Success of the west based on wars, but wars with huge gap in techno level. Rockets vs spears and bows. That is why you have what you have. But now, technological leadership has lost. You are trying to catch up east, but it looks so pity. You are too fat and lazy, too much DEI vs strict efficiency. @aif, most of the companies from the list 100% depends in semiconductors. ASML has unique position, it needs customers as well, so, whether will it block trading with China? TSMC depends on customers the same as customers depends on it. I don't think business as usual will be interrupted in case of China takes over it. Customers will get the chips, TSMC will get revenue, China will steal more technologies for next huge leap.
