@jd

nobody needs to explain that india is full of scammers and is therefore less trustworthy per capita than other places

it is simply fact

entire companies there literally scam call our grandmas on the phone for income

that is a globally unique level of evil fraud

@ms

if the work can be done outside of the office then the work can can be automated by ai

i want to hear zero complaints from indians when this happens because their argument was always that the company should do what’s best for the bottom line

we will see if they change their tune when the shoe is on the other foot

They should sent over there all of the ungrateful, "I'm entitled to this and that", "PIP cry babies", here in the USA.

The'll grow up better over there.

@jd Are you dense? Every post that has negative comments about XOM’s usage of the BTC in India is centered around the people that made the decision to send the work there. That is the main frustration. Just because someone doesn’t give a physical description of the people that made the decision every time doesn’t mean those aren’t the people we are angry with.

Why would someone be frustrated that people from an economically disadvantaged society (India) are working at Exxon in order to provide for their families or get ahead if they have the opportunity? Anyone would make that decision in their shoes. The frustration is with management to send the jobs there in the first place solely to lower because the results are objectively below par and riddled with errors that waste time to correct and could result in a loss of life in the future.

@g7 “Unethical” as is in “having darker skin and speaking a different language.” There, FIFY

Weird how there’s never any complaints about the wealthy middle-aged white dudes who sent the jobs there to begin with. I guess they get a pass because they look like you?

Explain yourselves.

@h8 Sounds just like the U.S.

It’s almost like people are people no matter where you go.

I have spent a lot of time in India. The idea that Indians are working 70 hours a week, work hard, and are productive is all a myth. My experience has been some are good and most are not very good.

It is not a BTC problem. It is XOM problem, if any. Look at the history of shop shifting. Canada, Europe, KL, Brazil, Argentina, India, and next will be whatever will be cheaper than India. XOM is not loyal to its people and its people have self sense of pride and loyalty towards XOM.
