I was deeply shocked when I found out who was laid off. Among them are colleagues who would certainly be role model employees in another company thanks to their hard work and skills.
Why doesn't Optum want people like that? Total chaos.

Never once did I ever say they had any amount of competence. Quite the opposite in fact as is apparent in every area.
Even scarier with the ones that have no work ethic, are always highly offended by something, never learned how to actually speak to another person, and are scared to call a member!!!
Totally disagree have seen it the opposite way actually! Dealing with the incompetence of those that can’t even use excel or Visio!!!!! Scary stuff!
Treat loyal people like sh** it will boomerang. Word on the street is important to business growth
Optum wants drones. Worker bees who do the work for cheap, say yes sir, yes ma'am and keep on slaving away. Oh... I mean workers who are in Ireland, India and the Philippines. Why? Cheap labor. Their plan is to push it all out of the U.S. because Witty has been deal making for years with the government.
There is a team that needs to get rif’d the manager is the only one that works! The rest are clueless and complain about every time they have to work and have more excuses than I have ever seen In my life! Hope they get the reviews they deserve!!!!
It doesn't take much to be more knowledgeable than the majority of mangers. Optum should get rid of the majority of managers, teams would be better off without the topic id--ts we have in charge that are clueless.
If you are older and more knowledgeable than your manager, you will be seen as a threat, instead of an asset and resource for the team. They will look to get rid of you. Happened to me.
