Citibank is Next. I'm surprised this has Not already happened in Citibank because Citibank is a Sl@ve M@ster and Citibank is a white collar Sweat Shop paying Crumbs and Dog Food Money compared to its envied Competitors. Wells Fargo employee found De@d in her cubicle at her desk after 5 days Only because her co-wprkers smelled a foul Odor. Her co-workers began smelling the Foul (Someone is De@d) Odor on Monday Aug. 19, but thought it was just malfunctioning plumbing. She scanned her company badge on Friday Aug. 16 at 7:00am PST in Arizona. Only on Tuesday Aug. 20 were the company "managers" and Building's Security Guards finally called. Then they began "investigating". I smell (pun intended) a LAWSUIT or 2 or more against Wells Fargo. So Sad.

Post ID: @7mdb+1sFowhTN True. She was FVCKING the SEC, Taxpayers and Shareholders in more ways than one ! So sad. She and her husband, the former Assistant Director at the SEC Never paid the price for their complicity !

Post ID: @7eup+1sFowhTN Ok. Minor error about the familial relations of Madoff that I will correct now. Shana Madoff-Swanson is the daughter of Peter Madoff, and a niece of Bernie Madoff, who employed her as a compliance officer and attorney at Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities (BLMIS) from 1995 until 2008. In 2008, the company ceased to exist due to Madoff's 2 sons exposing and turning in their own father to the FBI for his ponzi schemes. Regardless, this was a blatant Conflict of Interest for which the SEC is responsible. The SEC's incompetence, negligence and willful blindness of Madoff's ponzi schemes cost the investing public Billions of dollars.

Madoff only had 2 sons. Don’t let facts get in the way of your rant. Regardless, SEC failed.

Post ID: @ueo+1sFowhTN The SEC was Not only hoodwinked but also caused itself and the U.S. Taxpayers self-inflicted wounds, reputational damage, distrust and made the SEC look like a joke/fake regulator. The SEC should have Fired or reassigned the SEC investigator/auditor who was auditing Madoff Securities and Madoff's other businesses because of Conflicts of Interests arising from the fact that He was having an affair with Madoff's daughter, whom he eventually married. And of course the other "Regulators" (NASD, OCC, FRB, etc.) followed the SEC's lead because the SEC chose Not to pursue tips, leads and negative reports filed for decades, Not even years, about Madoff's ponzi schemes H3LL, NYPD is better at pursuing or investigating tips and leads. And that's NOT saying much when this is a very low hurdle to jump over.

@6rfw+1sFowhTN - it is not fair to generalize that all Indians lie. Citi is dominated by immigrants especially Indians and some of them are nasty and don’t like transparency and you can’t challenge them . I am one of the victims and I am fine that I got laid off.
I don’t know Selva personally but attended 1 or 2 Townhall meetings, I didn’t get good impression.

Selva is a horrible arrogant man. I have seen him in action in person. Very much the heart of the Indian gang at Citi who all think they are far more intelligent than everyone else and who are quite happy to lie about it too.

The current data governance program is a joke....poorly put together cr-p. The data concern process is even worse. Speaking as a risk professional at Citi SVP.

Post ID: @xyg+1sFowhTN That's just standard defence language that the defendants always say, and of course, Citi is stating it. Citi is Not going to admit or deny anything too early in the case. When NOT if the plaintiff wins, it will just be another Nail in the CitiCoffin in addition to more monetary fines from All of the Regulators, Not just the OCC ! ROTFLMFAO !

Citi says the lawsuit that's being brought by Kathleen Martin, its former data chief administration officer and a managing director at the bank, is "without merit" and that it will "vigorously defend against it.”

Post ID: @cjc+1sFowhTN The OCC and other Regulators "believed" what Citi told them and accepted Citi's word at face value which is worth $HIT. Correct. Whoever/Svcker(s) at the OCC, et. al. is or was working on this and other Citi cases may get reassigned or Fired. Looks like another Madoff situation where the SEC and other Regulators were hoodwinked for years if not decades and the U.S. Taxpayers ended up paying for their Fvck Ups, incompetence, negligence and naivety.

OCC will also send another batch of people since they “believed” what citi said to them. So, occ is in trouble also. Gotta do crazy digging now haha

Funniest part is that it’s leaderships fault consent order will fall through and fail. The way they run this company is literally opposed to the solution. Siloed roles, delusional, insecure, narcissistic managers.

They are literally too old, too stupid and too close minded to figure out the solution or know when they are falling for and purchasing snake oil.

And their leadership style ensures it stays that way. Knowledge work is what the job is, but who will share knowledge for a company that exploits them and doesn’t incentivize the right thing, which is meritocracy and knowledge.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me — can’t get fooled again.

Anand Selva needs to be FIRED ASAP !!! And any of his other minions who enabled and followed along with his criminal orders to cover up malfeasance should Not only be also FIRED but charged with criminal offences just like Anand Selva.

The sleaziness of such leaders makes me want to bathe in antiseptic when I leave the office everyday. Untouchable criminality that never goes punished, just pushed off the "train" with a golden parachute, and ohn to the next conquest

It’s only the top of the iceberg. The OCC needs to dig deeper. Consent order work is flawed and will be Citi’s demise. Policy is being rewritten for the third time due to inadequacy affecting risk reduction efforts and work is being done based on flawed policy. People from CitiBanamex should not be leading these efforts due to legal issues and pending sale.
