Do you really think fruit company will succeed in making Modem chip? Both Intel & Q folks working at fruit company are clueless about 5g design. Tell me did they ever performed good job at Q? Whoever left Q modem group and joined in fruit company are just talkative guys, they never produced proper output.

Your post is sadly mistaken. Qualcomm’s main revenue stream comes from QTL. Thus it does matter which modems are sold… if Qualcomm IP is in the chip Qualcomm will receive a revenue stream every month - thanks to the great Qualcomm lawyers.
Apple is doing its own thing…..has spelled doomed for others…imagination is one……Qualcomm tried smart book, cx laptop processors, server chips in rtp….fired the whole group, …..now banking in nuvia…even worse mediatek is gaining …...Samsung modem in pixel……I am not a Qualcomm hater but serious introspection is needed…..instead of propaganda and marketing…..
