Has anyone else noticed that their designation in webphone has changed from FTO to FOW without receiving a designation letter? I just happened to notice when I was in webphone today checking for another piece of information that I was now FOW. When RTO information was first coming out I checked my designation and I was FTO.

Yes, same happened to 4 of us in my direct group. All 4 were TW early this year. We were changed to FTO after the Stankey mandate. Now after 7/14 we were updated to FOW. 1 is out of state, but will have time to move to Dallas, 2 are about 4 hour drive away from one of secondary hubs. The last is 30 minutes away from secondary hub. Others in our group are in the same hub but still FTO (they were never TW).
I think many people that think they are safe in their office are going to get told to relo when that letter comes out. Spoke with many in Atlanta that have stated they were told safe in Atlanta and RTO are now getting letters telling them to relo despite being in Atlanta. Some have been told to move to Dallas others some other hub.

Several in our group who are not in a hub city got changed from TW (teleworker) to FOW. None of us got letters but the boss says our 'final designation' letter should come sometime in August.
Yep, mine changed last week and my letter is expected this week. Clearly I know what it’s going to say.
Going from FTO to FOW without a letter does have an ominous feel about it.

No letter means you were not part of the "stay where you are" group. They just started sending out the relocation notices, so if you didn't get it yet, you will very soon.
FOW was Flex Office Worker but is now Future Office Worker after the RTO announcement.
FTO is Full Time Office
What does FOW stand for?
Yeah mine changed. I had a conversation with my director around the time that it happened. It was literally said in passing during a separate conversation. Very casual, like yeah you're going to go here.
But I never actually received a letter. This whole thing has been a sh-t show.
