What's your prediction as it relates to the possiblity of Baker Hughes layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

US corporate management ain't what it used to be.
The fish tots from the head down.
Singapore is already falling flat on their face. They already pist off some customers; TPIs were not happy with the quality of the valves being produced, failing and compared to the plant, where they were originally produced, that is being shut down in the US -just to "save cost."

BH doesn’t need to lay anybody off, because anybody with any integrity about them does not seem to stay on for more than a year.
Jeez, even the Long Timers are giving up waiting for the final payoff & finding pastures new.
Our company will continue to shed jobs and slowly but surely become less and less relevant. It's quite disappointing honestly, there's some great people here. The company will pay a severe price for poor upper management and poor executive leadership
Won’t be anyone to lay off where I’m at since they can’t keep any new hires more then a month before they leave for better pay and hours
No layoffs in Montrose that would be construed as unfair dismissal. Unless you were d-mb enough to sign your contract. Lol
Baker Hughes is the worst company I’ve ever worked for, management are not human.
Management out in force again. They fail to see they are the problem, too much red tape and other things to do that prevent you getting on with the job in hand. Sad thing is they think their making things better.
They are exporting 70+ manufacturing jobs from the Kirkby, Liverpool manufacturing plant to Singapore in March 23, therefore closing a plant that has served the industry since 1959. Let’s hope they bothered to tell the customers about the change? Or do they think everything will go swimmingly?

BH needs to shut down Montrose and move everything to Singapore. Nothing but problems in Scotland time to get out.
Brent Avenue in Montrose is guaranteed to shut down and Chay Road will close a couple of years later. There's no way that Baker Hughes can continue to pay the workers costs for the amount of work they get back. All operations will move overseas.
My prediction is that yes, we will get laid by management and we will be but_ hurt.
More than likely, they sure aren't going to save the $150 by cutting executives, which they should. This company has been run poorly for some time, it starts at the very top and continues from there
