In Japan, workplace napping is known as inemuri, which is seen as a mark of dedication, not laziness. Catching a few Z’s at your desk or in a designated nap zone is actually encouraged by some companies to boost focus and productivity. Gen Z didn’t invent napping at work, but they definitely understood the assignment.

In Japan, employees are not paid during lunch breaks. They can nap or whatever but no work is expected. Not even business talk during that time.
Holding hands under the stalls is considered customary.
