Are the ISPs Much Different than the VSPs?

As someone else pointed out on a different thread
ISP is HR’s cute way of saying FIRED!
when someone gets fired do they get a nice gushy package??
Come on guys. This is what Intel is doing so badly. Our majority is a bunch of dimwits.
The business dynamics are changing fast. How often are corporate wide surprise policies applied? Something could easily happen at the BoD meeting to override the Q&A... even that was probably not truly vetted for corporate cost/future, but somebody trying to answer all the questions and getting only a first line response.
You guys are putting way too much trust in the same group of people who have lied to us multiplied times in past. Way way too much trust. What makes you think this time they are telling the whole truth? They have pulled fake out “oopsies” countless times before. But the biggest question is why are you trusting them? They are protecting the company not YOU. The sooner you realize this the better off you will be. A class action lawsuit? On what? That they lied? Remember the no compete bullsh-t they used to pull? That was unenforceable? Didn’t stop them from threatening. And….. lying about it. No class action suits there. It’s clear not that someone isn’t and Intel employee but rather they are very young in their career or have never worked anywhere else or just mo--ns
Maybe the same for Intel cost wise, but not for you unless you think being walked out of your cubicle by security and/or told to turn in your computer same day is the same as VSP to you.
@fzk+1upQlk0D
I would say yes.
People made decisions based upon that information HR put out. If they pull the rug and don't payout, they will likely face a class action lawsuit for fraud.
If they had not published that information, I think the take would be double from what I have been hearing.
I love people say this on here. So you think some randoms found this barely known website - who had over 100 companies to choose from and came here to post. Where there are tons of more popular sites and message boards discussing Intel? You’re silly. You are a silly person. A goof ball person that people don’t take seriously. You do realize outside of Intel no one gives a fu-k about us. Most don’t know what’s going on or then headlines that we su-k. And when I say most I mean nearly everyone you interact with that is not connected to the company.
How often has Intel lied? To its employees and just the world at large? He-l misrepresenting the truth (aka lying) is what got us here in the first place. And now we are getting sued by multiple parties because of it. You are way to naive and trusting of employees of company who has been caught lying by the public and whose job is to lie for protect the company.
The fact you trust them speaks volumes to state of the company. HR are not you friends. You @jns+1upQlk0D are a stupid tw-t. You deserve to be let go. And watch what package you get. Zilch. Because it is not legally binding. They are just words. Oh oh oh but X said during Q&A they would be the same! God you are pathetic and in for a very rude awakening. Welcome to the adult real world bubba. Mommy and Daddy aren’t here. So continue to be blindly loyal to the same people who fu---d you over. It’s a smart tactic you are going to go far.
How to say you don't work for Intel without working for Intel.
Is that answer legally binding?
Per HR FAQ & webcasts, ISP is the same as VSP - retirement and non-retirement except for time in redeployment. Redeployment is paid out immediately with VSP, ISP requires you to stay.
This was asked specifically and that was the answer they gave.
I would think ISP would allow you to collect unemployment
It’s not exact same. That’s why so many VSPs were denied. They can’t pay them all. Majority of ISP will get nothing. They can pay it.
Can you still collect unemployment if you take the VSP? Otherwise with ISP you will get up to 26 weeks if you have difficulty getting another job.
Same exact package. Obviously not an employee or you’d know.
