Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Champion Mindset…

…is a game changer. As with everything, it takes a while to mature. We need to exercise some patience and it will have a purposeful butterfly effect.

QQ. I have an opportunity to join Truist. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It’s for a role in the corporate branch banking / premier business. Thank you.

I believe most teammates are happy. This site brings bots and lies. I get that there are certain people that are not happy. Happens everywhere. If 99% of teammates are happy and supportive, let’s drop the negativity. For the doubters, we have a pension, 401k match, vacation days, and benefits. Wake up. Truist is on our side.

@cf Some of us actually enjoy working for Truist, have had good careers that are backed by hard work, while a majority of posters are disgruntle “employees” who will complain about any job any where

@hy - Agreed. The year-to-date return with TFC stands at just 4.8–4.9%, which is disappointing, especially when compared to other banks posting returns of 14% or higher. This under performance reflects poorly on leadership. A complete overhaul of the C-suite and board of directors is warranted. It's clear that Bill and his team are mismanaging the bank, despite the presence of strong talent within the organization. Can't wait to hear Mike Mayo rake Bill over the coals on October 17th. during Q3 earnings call.

All this mumbo, jumbo about Champion mindset....just the latest naritive in the platitude parade. Ask yourself what really happens in sports when a team has substantial talent but consistently underperforms and fails to recoginze its potential. When that happens, it usually indicates that the Coach has lost the locker room and the team owner fires him and brings in someone new. A true championship coach can get their team motivated above and beyond just winning. Would be inconceivable to think this would apply here.

It would be so cool if the company would retain the services of true champions like Jordan, Curry, Tiger, and others to train teammates. That would mean a lot.

Whenever I’m feeling down I look in the mirror and chant Purple Power! 3 times and I eventually feel better 😃
