Voluntary Separation Plan

When will the Voluntary Separation Plan be offered to U.S. employees? Is it available to employees in all roles, or is participation limited to the sales organization?

@cd they were before that, 6 months salary and bonus and you had to wait a year before returning. There were three if I remember correctly. We also used to have furlough programs where you could volunteer to work 3-4 days per week and get paid for those and have the other days off.

Laws in the USA are very favorable to employers not employees. Unless this changes there will never be a VSP for US employees.

Please give us the details of the VSP. What terms were offered? Which teams have received that offer?
I would love to take a VSP, please be as specific as possible on the facts and details.

@OP There is already as voluntary separation plan in place now.

Dell calls it "Make Life as Miserable as Possible So You Quit" plan. That's the only plan they will offer for the foreseeable future.
