ISG Needs an En--a

ISG needs a serious en--a, starting with the shitpile of incompetent leadership. I hope this week brings a long-needed cleaning house.

@dw PowerStore is Dell's storage golden child so not likely to happen.

@g7 And why is it do you think that powerstore has taken so long to be developed? It's because in the middle of the design phase, inept Dell leadership canned the talented EMC engineers that were designing it and insisted on a nearly complete redesign.

@dw Powermax is just dell's rebranding of the emc max which has been around forever and is waaayyy past the development stage.

PowerMax and PowerStore both need to be gutted And realigned. Their products taking nearly half a decade to be developed is absolutely ridiculous.

@cd Sorry to hear you see it too. If your Dad is a leader in ISG, I guarantee you he's an incompetent, power-hungry POS! They all are in ISG. They think that's their job, to be total di-ks. It's not. Their job is to lead but none of the know how to lead so they fake it and enact their abusive rule over anyone who disagrees with them. Total POSs.

I’m the son of a senior leader at ISG, and my perspective comes from seeing both the professional image and the private reality. At home, he has been largely absent. My mother often spends her evenings alone, and even when he could work from home, he chooses not to be present.

He is driven by power, control, and outward success, and that mindset carries into how he treats others. His constant need to assert himself can be overwhelming.

Start with Franklin. This isn’t leadership, it’s bad management. No growth direction, constant micromanagement, and people are being held back. Promotions barely happen, raises are minimal, and expectations keep going up. That’s the problem. ISG needs a full reset at the top.
