Just got this meeting invite tomorrow morning 9:30 am in US. People say it's the layoff call. Does anyone else get this meeting invite? What kind of severance package can I expect.

What would we do without thelayoff.com? Is this a support system for Broadcom?

If we do not receive our letter, then does it mean there is no proof of being laid off?

Was the meeting invite by mistake?

If I did not attend the meeting and it is so easy to miss a meeting that was sent after business close the previous day for a meeting first thing in the morning the next day?

The access was closed the same day?

Keep checking your email day and night mate. If your access is gone then see if it is an outage or if you were laid off.

This mind faaak is out of this world. VMware is a klaaaastaar faaaak. I hope to get out of this matrix and collect sevaaarance before this whole thing goes bankkkkruupptt

Let's revisit 2021 which sadly brought an end to my long-term tenure because you know 2 + 2 = 4 and all 🤨

I seem to remember one about an Indian 🇮🇳 alphabet crew member who had become deeply depressed over no longer being accepted at home, how sad 🥲
  • BUs discovered a more lucrative 📈 model compared to the archaic dinosaur 🦖 of building great products and making customers happy. This one, known as "Woke Capitalism" 🧚🏽‍♀️, shifted to the products that our customers really wanted – magical unicorns 🦄 and rainbows 🌈 !
  • Since most employees were still stuck in that old mindset of building ⛏️ something tangible, new corporate training material by some of the brightest minds on the planet like Betsy was necessary to enlighten our minds. These would include some of the greats like unconscious bias training, po-n videos 😳 and such – absolutely fabulous ✨
  • Directors, always eager to set good examples, were the first to proudly list their personal pronouns 👽/👽s in zoom meetings
  • Indian BU execs concerned for the welfare of VMware and its employees were vigilant 💂! Ensuring we were always on our guard against the ever growing threat of white supremacy 🫥
  • VMware being plus size 🐷 bold and brave, started to look beyond the enterprise and into the pharmaceutical space. With promising new partnerships with trusted brands like Moderna and focusing on hot new emerging tech. like mRNA, the future was bright!⚕️💰. Marketing started to pitch the idea that mRNA was like coding the OS for your body 💉 ... brilliant! With these new ventures and catchy marketing logos the sky was the limit 💪. Rumor had it that the first joint venture was aiming to tackle the pesky new strain of Myocarditis🫀 that just seemed to come out of nowhere 🤔.
  • It was nearly impossible to get hired or promoted unless you were Indian 👳🏿‍♂️

@cd they laid off anyone on that invite. Access is lost by 5pm today. Make sure your personal email is updated for hr. Hr will be sending out an email with the details. 60 days paid leave of absence. Plus severance if qualified. Vesting until last day of termination. Not clear to me if the termination date is today or 60 days or …?

Its not HT taking anything away. He is operating on the fringe of the boundaries outlined form him.

If there is any gripe it belongs with the aristocracy that runs OUR country. It IS the top 1% who have to make ROE on their $. The aristocracy doesn't care who gets hurt in the process! They achieve this by manipulating the Government.
