Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

No work from home. After all how will they outsource to indian if you're not at your desk?

Between BH and Columbus, it’s clear that a hybrid schedule is successful for those of us that do our jobs and helps weed out the low performers. Would love to see this schedule extended to all locations… Alpha, Omaha, Frisco, etc.

@e4 It’s telling that you think it’s laziness. It’s about gas prices. It’s about wear and tear on my car. About hour to the office. An hour back home. I’m putting in a full extra work day just commuting each week. My performance didn’t change pre/during/post pandemic. If I’m not doing my job, my manager would be very aware of it. And then they can my a$$. But that’s not the case. One size fits all is a ridiculous approach to work/life balance.

What about hybrid for the rest of us? Gas prices are ludicrous and I don't need the office to do my job. We're only there to be micromanaged

@cc I don’t see how I can ruin it. They can’t take it away from us unless the parking situation is fixed. They’re not letting us stay home out of the goodness of their hearts. They f’ed up by choosing this building so Frankie could have a short commute. And once they break ground on the parking structure they’re going to have even fewer parking spots during construction meaning they have to let more of us stay home more often. Which is probably why it hasn’t happened yet. I’m just asking for what they told us initially. Honestly, my guess is that certain people who have power like the days they already have and don’t want to switch. THEY would be the complainers if Fiserv did as they initially intended. Just sayin.
