At the last town hall they said layoffs were done and we had the right people in the right places. But more people were rif'd last week. Not sure what to believe.

Nah it is true. Last week was a whole outside sales team and a few random employees elsewhere from kinetic. there were probably more. those are only the ones I heard about.
Idk I think alot of these posts are fluff as when one asks who or what department no one answers

Right. Tell me the last time they said that and it was actually true. RIF’d or just fired for performance? Probably just going back to the quiet small quarterly lay offs. Lay offs will never be “done” in this industry. If you can get fired for performance expect that first as a way for them to reduce expenses. Every merger brings layoffs too, that is the point of mergers, reduce overhead between companies. You can’t speak about the possibility of future mergers or acquisitions without there being layoffs…and layoffs happen on all sides of acquisitions and mergers not just one.
