Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

How bad is the exodus really?

Trying to get a feel for the numbers of people leaving the company in recent months.

In my area, it’s like rats from a sinking ship. I count 7 leavers since the 5 day RTO, and the only backfill we got was pulled from another area of the business. No new hires.

Surely this can’t go on, Fiserv is going to come to a grinding halt if this continues.

@ca+1jra9g9ht Keep in mind, it is 2025. ALL finance companies have been tracking employees for at least a decade. You are not smart if you think they are not tracking everything you do on your PC. This goes for most corporate companies.

I was laid off some time ago—while I do feel empathy for everyone else who has gone through their 'realignments,' life is so much better being on the other side.

Exodus taught me a lot of lessons I am grateful for...but none of them were pleasant. The future is much brighter elsewhere.

I wish all those affected a short unemployment period. To all current employees, I wish you the best. You are not safe and should focus on stacking sats in an emergency fund.

The biggest source of "income" are the termination fees - they don't care.

escaped in Q1. could t be happier. got comparable pay, better / more affordable healthcare and far better benefits including 3 days remote and no bs time tracking or badge swipes.
Also encouraged to have a strong work life balance and paid 1 day per year to volunteer

and you know what? I could’nt be happier! i wish for the best for everyone else left on the sinking ship.

Recently left and found a real company that values work life balance and not just the presence of it.

I encourage everyone else to do the same. More layoffs inbound.

The exodus has slowed - only because the job market is poor.

As long as Fiserv remains in the stone age both technoligy wise and HR wise it will continue to bleed out, as it is now.
At no time has "leadership", and I use this term as a joke, given the employees in return for all the cr-p we have endured so a few can get so rich.

Pay us correctly.
Dont delays merit raises to save a few bucks in the 1st quarter.

Sc--w free swag and what coffee you get in the building with dirty restroom, no place to park, and not secure wifi (ever hear of a man in the middle attack lady), laptops that are outdated and packed with spyware.

Get real and leave. Make Fiserv treat you better!!!!

I left and no one on my team even said goodbye. They're all hardened against it.

My entire team left about the time the invasion turned evil - out on their own and all have sound, good jobs now. I retired in Nov 2019 so got out just before the collapse began. As noted in interview posts here, the firm has become a total joke.

I started two years ago. Since I started, my team lost at LEAST 8 people with only two backfilled. I left beginning of this year, and since I resigned, two more have left. They HAD to open a req (just one!). But before those resignations, we had zero reqs. The exodus is real and has been ongoing.

I left back in January when half my team quit. It was back to back to back in less than a month.

Hope the rumors of merit being postponed to May isn’t true. Greed from the top ):

People leaving. No back fills. Recession coming. They're going to get those 9 hours in office out of us one way or another. Want to keep your job? Take on the work of these two ppl who left and who we won't replacing. That'll get the 9 hours outta you.
