Who’s ready to get told they didn’t qualify for the yearly merit raise again?

@OP
Me! Me!
And I do more work that the people with their feet up on the desks playing on their tiny toys.
@fj I didn't say 3% was worth anything, just that I receive a minimum of 3% as a middle performer on my team.
"Don't qualify for raise" tells me this is likely Sales, I think I've heard they have more strict requirements. Or you've been given a low performer rating, which is either a real performance thing or you have a su-ky manager who hates you (and no other good reason to give a low rating)
You ch-des acting like 3% is worth a pi-s given the current cost of inflation and how whatever we get each year doesnt even come close to match...in reality its a "break even" increase if anything
"Raise" is a curse word at Dell.
well, with 20 people on a team now, the pool gets much lower. A past team of 5 or 6 will be different from a now current team of 20. We'll see soon the results of this consolidation.
Bi--h please… up late at night combing the layoff sites and bragging about your raises. I think we all know the fantasy land you’re living in. We have seen your tired posts many times.
um... i hate to be the one to tell you this but, it's probably your own fault you don't get a raise?
I've never gotten below a 3.5% raise in the last 5-6 years Ive been at Dell. Last year, I got a 12% raise lol.
Year one - 9% raise
Year two - 4.3% raise
Year 3 - 3.5%
Year 4 - 12%
Year 5 - 4%
Might want to work a bit harder and su-k up to the people who give raises because raises are not a 100% guarantee, simply bc you work at a company... My manager didn't get one last year and he's easily the best manager I've ever had in my entire career.
TLDR: This is a YOU problem my friend.
With adjusted inflation I realized that I make less money now. I also feel it at the end of the month.
@c2 well tickle my sc----m and pinch my gonads, you lucky s-b
Only you know the reality of your own comment. But glad you’re clinging to the message boards like a happy little clam.
Just remember that a 3% raise when inflation is 2.9%, like it was in 2024, means you actually got a 0.1% raise.
I’ve never gotten below 3.5% idk what to tell ya
@ax+1k74hq7c8 I call BS.
@OP Are you sure you doing your job right? I'm a middle performer on my team and have received a minimum od a 3% raise every year.
