Berkeley Heights got busted for fake meetings

Word on the street is that some Berkeley Heights employees got busted for creating fake meetings in order to get sapience hours. No idea if they are let go or what happened to them. Anyone knows anything about this?

Can anyone actually confirm if this happened? Seems like a lot of rumor but no one actually confirming.

@ce+1jj8eaqzw speaking the truth

The fake meetings are a result of the management. Simple logic

LOL only capable of micromanaging keystrokes and minutes, nothing else.

I love this

"Someone feeling they need to set up a meeting to survive is the symptom. Your management style that made them feel like that was ever needed is the disease."

You can brag about catching people with some draconian surveillance system. But, the idea you would need such a thing in the first place only shows the complete and utter failure of a manager you are.

This new brand of management now in power will bark orders and microm,anage keystrokes and minutes at a cubicle, because they are incapable of looking at anything else.

They don't understand their products and haven't any interaction with the people they supposedly manage. They don't inspire and lead, they watch for aberration of some numbers on a badge swipe report, because that's the only thing they're capable of doing.

And, as a result, I've seen people that loved this company growing to despise it. I've seen centuries of experience walk through the door, never to come back.

So, fiddle away with your teams metrics as Rome burns. Someone feeling they need to set up a meeting to survive is the symptom. Your management style that made them feel like that was ever needed is the disease.

Love how people think we can't see what they are doing in teams calls. Jokes on you

@ab+1jj8eaqzw I guess a different way to think of this is it IS normal at Fiserv, and if we want to forget that we need to leave Fiserv.

I too have seen my fair share of managers in meetings just to rack up sapience time chatting about nothing. But they are not to be blamed for trying to keep their job under the Cs.

They make you fear for your job. I knew so many people who would set up meetings with each other, even my manager did this. People on my team once got an email asking them to explain why their “working hours” not office hours that were below a certain threshold. They were and to explain each day. I’m sorry what? So if you meet with someone in person you should set a meeting in teams to account for that time. I told my manager that this is a game I don’t want to play. It’s ridiculous, scaring people to the point where they have account for every second of every day, or else they are in danger of being let go. Fiserv can keep that nonsense, you treat people like dirt then don’t be surprised when in breeds this kind of response. I left before the last RIF and I promise you, this culture is not normal. My new job treats my people with respect and like the professionals that we are. You don’t have to accept this as normal. Start looking, the job market is rough but once you’re out a weight will be lifted off your shoulders and you didn’t realize how abusive it was until you’re out. Good luck, everyone.

People were let go last RIF for meetings while commuting or badged out smoking to juice sapience... Don't put up a meeting unless you are actually meeting with your coworkers. Does not take a genius.

Well it’s a fact that people have been told to set up traveling time in a teams meeting so I don’t doubt this at all…what a joke!
