Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Just a thought

I don’t think Truist has enough office space to fit everyone. I traveled at a few of their office locations(ATL, CLT, Raleigh/Greensboro). It doesn’t look like there is enough room. Especially in the Charlotte office and the new Battery location.

Wilson has plenty of space but the entire office is empty. My team is one that has come onsite 4 days for a year and 5 days starting January. Everyday I go in there are maybe 40 cars and by lunch it’s down to 20

Wrong, they are working hard. It’s just that Wilson isn’t a prioritized location. Trust me, major focus on this.

In Wilson, there’s a whole room that could easily fit 70 people not being used and a ‘bullpen’ that was never reconfigured into cubicles on the same floor. They aren’t working very hard to bring folks back in.

@c7 the stupid sh-t this company spends money on….and then a potential 1.75% annual bump. This place is a terrible joke.

They don’t. They are actively building out more space though. Millions will be spent to bring people back to the office. If you aren’t going into an office, I wouldn’t consider your job “safe”
