I feel so bad for the people at CBS News. Honestly, how are journalists, editors, and producers supposed to navigate a hostile right-wing authoritarian take over that has already legally gotten away with extorting the company for millions of dollars? It's not fair, how can people praise The Daily Show or South Park for having a backbone and biting back, but the newsroom is "too left" or "scared little rabbits" (eye roll) the level of cognitive dissonance and disrespect is staggering and impossible to work around
