I'd be happy to give grace to higher-ups if they did the same for the rank-and-file. Regular people here lose jobs and have their lives upended for innocuous and sometimes no reason at all; forget about anything criminal... Once the 1% starts actually leading by example, then the rest of us might actually think they're maybe worthy of following. Until then, it's complete hypocrisy.
I’m sorry, poor decision making skills, and a convicted criminal. If that was me I would never have been hired. I have personally seen people terminated if a DUI shows up on a routine background check. Nah… not giving any grace to the elite while the peasants are healed to a different standard.
First of all, this is old news. Second of all, we are a behavioral health and substance use company. There are times even rich people fall into addiction and disease. Give some grace. If you can’t then you shouldn’t work at Optum.
Have mental health issues at work? Your boss will outcast you and treat you like sh-t.
Have an actual criminal record? PROMOTION!
