@c5+1jxhv146v, they tried it in the past many years ago, yes, pretty much 50% who was offered took it. :D
If they offered buyouts to everyone, half the company would be gone by lunch.
Why not just find a new job instead of looking for a handout?

that would require integrity and more importantly cost money.
and they know they would lose a lot of people. A lot.
